March 10th Mars, the planet of War, joined Jupiter, Pluto and Saturn in the constellation Sagittarius. On this day all four lined up along Earth’s elliptical in a perfectly spaced cluster.

Each planet has a different rate of elliptical orbit around the sun, meaning one planet will seemingly move through our sky faster than another. A good rule of thumb to remember is: the further away a planet is from the sun, the slower the path across Earth’s sky. Of the four planets in alignment right now, Mars is the closest to the sun, so it will be meeting and passing the others from our perspective on Earth. Mars first meets Pluto and Jupiter.

This combination suggests that we recognize that the path we are taking is into and through death. Mars brings in the fighting energy into current events. For example, while some may manifest this energy to fight Covid-19, unfortunately others will have a sense of war in their heart against their neighbor who is perceived as contributing to the lack of resources. 

Mars continues its path crossing Saturn. The authoritarian restrictions of Saturn combine with the reactionary energy of Mars which may manifest into compulsory curfews and or total quarantine under martial law.

The Moon briefly joins Jupiter Mars and Pluto in a cluster on March 17th.

Mars taps into our basic instinct for survival to the extent that we are willing to fight. This is already being manifest as people become more quarrelsome as society struggles to find toilet paper, water or bread. The war energy of Mars extends into the dynamics of nations as well, potentially escalating existing conflicts. Mars says within the vicinity of these other slower planets for a few weeks, so be aware of it's effect on current events.

March 21st Mars crosses Pluto. By March 30th, Mars meets Saturn to cross its path.

Just as sailors used the stars to navigate troubled waters, modern astrological literacy, understanding what is written in the stars, can help us navigate through the clouds of mass hysteria towards clarity and peace.

At the same time, let’s not forget the other planetary alignment previously discussed in the recent post on Kobe Bryant.

Mercury is the God of Messages in Mythology. It was believed that he was incredibly fast. This planet has everything to do with expression, communication and travel.

With this alignment what will be expressed?

Mercury aligns with Neptune. Neptune associates with celebrities, imagination, fantasy, illusions, the subconscious, and dreams.

Will we see celebrities (Neptune) speak out (Mercury) about the conflicts we are facing?

Will people express (Mercury) their conspiracies in regards to current events?

Is there an illusion (Neptune) on the planet that is covering up something?

Will people’s dreams be expressed or ruined?

Will people spend more time locked up playing video games during that time? Living in a fantasy world?

Will the world have more celebrity casualties which the people will make memes and express their feelings for?

Only time will tell...

Kobe and Gigi Bryant

On the morning of January 26th 2020 basketball legend Kobe Bryant, his 13-year old daughter Gigi, and seven additional friends died in a tragic helicopter crash into a Calabasas California hillside.

News of his death spread quickly on news outlets, social media, radio and television. Kobe’s fans mourned by donning his Laker’s Jersey for the days and weeks following the accident giving visibility to his legacy and was a testament to the impact he made in the lives of thousands of people. The outpouring of love for Kobe’s family, friends, and colleagues flowed in from all over the world.

Kobe’s passing was so deeply devastating that it seemed the whole world mourned together. Teammates shared stories of his leadership on television interviews, friends shared anecdotes of the excellent father he was to his three daughters. The whole of public consciousness honored and mourned the great and talented man he was.

Experience has shown that when powerful events are experienced by large groups of people, that the symbols of this energy are already transcribed in the stars. Do the positions of the planets and constellations predict, cause or reflect the events that so powerfully affect us? Stars fields, roaming planets, positioning in the constellations, all have symbols of important and recurring themes. If you understand how to read the language of the stars, they may just be able to give greater insight to major world events as they happen, highlight important things we may have otherwise missed and even give a flavor for future events. 

At the time of Kobe’s tragic passing the constellation Aquarius, who is the water bearer held two very important planets combined together in his bucket. One was the planet Neptune which is a symbol of fantasy, dreams, illusions and celebrities. Neptune is anything that is larger than life. The other planet Venus which is the planet of love. These two planets combined at the point where Aquarius is pouring his bucket out. It is symbolically telling the story of an outpouring of love towards a celebrity and his family. 

The stars reflected what was happening on the planet as everyone mourned. As if from the bucket of Aquarius itself, the world poured out love, devotion and honor to the man, the celebrity: Kobe Bryant and his family that was lost and broken.

Coronavirus Foretold in the Sky

A couple months ago I was pondering the meanings of the upcoming alignment of Jupiter, Saturn and Pluto on April 4, 2020. (This is when Jupiter and Pluto align the closest) Individually, all three planets move very slowly, having a relatively long year path around the sun. Their cyclical paths and orbit make this triad alignment incredibly rare. Below are some snapshots of the planets will look when aligned in early April. But again, because of their individually slow movement, but they already have a similar positioning right now.

The visible alignment of Jupiter, Saturn and Pluto finally become conjunct between the constellations of Capricorn and Sagittarius. The proximity of planetary alignments to Zodiac constellations give insight as to the intended meaning for and effect on our world.

Capricorn is the known as father figure of the Zodiac signs. This suggests authority will be an important theme.

Sagittarius is known as the Blue Flame and is hottest, most hyped up, most radical of all the fire signs. This suggests that world events will be highly publicized and in the forefront of public consciousness.

In regards to the planets involved, Jupiter is generally a very good, fortune sign. It generally symbolizes what we are gaining, where we are expanding, what we are coming into. Despite it’s individual strength, Jupiter’s effect is overpowered when it aligns with the two more ominous planets Saturn and Pluto. Pluto is the planet of death, change, and transition opposing Jupiter’s good fortune. Saturn is a planet of structure, rules, and restrictions, opposing Jupiter’s normal expansion and freedom.

Because Pluto and Jupiter are closer in proximity to Sagittarius, the hottest of the fire signs, we can expect to see more energy, more hype in relation to the things happening in the world.

Saturn’s rules and structure being close to Capricorn, the father authority figure, is likely a symbol of government restriction, which we’ve seen already in the travel restrictions and quarantine effort. We will likely see more of that coming soon.

Mars is a symbol of war, what a person fights for and where they put their effort and energy. The proximity of Mars to the authority of Capricorn adds additional meaning to the triad event. I expect more authoritative restrictions but more so the effort of pushing it by governments, etc because of the Mars alignment. This reinforces the symbol of more quarantines happening.

While these haven't come fully into alignment we are already seeing the manifestation of their meaning in the collective state of our world. The alarming news reports of fast spreading coronavirus, mounting deaths, and the response of world governments in putting restrictions on people in an attempt to contain the virus match the meaning of the heavenly alignment and zodiac positioning. This is actually quite ominous because it implies that these affairs may intensify when these planets alignment hits more directly in a couple of weeks or so.

Introduction

This blog will explore what is written in the sky. We will dive into current events and also the past so that we can show and establish language patterns which are being spoken. The symbolism explored will borrow from symbols in astronomy, astrology, mythological legends, stories, etc. In a sense it will be a hybrid of modalities getting explored as simplistic as possible. We will often examine the sky as it is or how it appears. What story is simply being told above and does it match what is going on around the earth?
